Lily is a former foster youth, former kinship and foster parent, sister to an incarcerated young person, and a proud queer person. They also happen to be an attorney. Before founding With Lived Experience, she worked on state and federal policy affecting foster and kinship families. Lily graduated Yale University with a B.A. in Economics and received their law degree from Berkeley Law School in 2015. Lily worked on foster care and education policy as an Equal Justice Works Fellow at the Youth Law Center and the National Center for Youth Law. Lily served as a Commissioner for the ABA Commission on Youth at Risk and is currently on the Board of Legal Services for Children. Lily lives in Sacramento with their partners.

Tina has had decades of experience in scholarship program development, program management, student support and executive/personal assistance. Tina has a passion for coaching foster youth and other underrepresented populations as they navigate adulthood, the postsecondary education system, and the workplace and strive to achieve professional and personal success. Tina loves her children, her baby grandson, her animals, and especially the students (chickadees) she's mentored over the years.

Rebecca has a passion for combining math and technology with art, design, and creativity: she has been the student team leader of the Mill Valley Rube Goldberg team, a mentor with Reaching Out With Robotics, the founder of Tam High STEMinists club, the founder of RebeccaDesigns.biz, her own sewing and jewelry ecommerce store, and has created many websites. She’s super excited to use her love for tech and design as part of the With Lived Experience team.
